Take a break from everyday life… or rather, in this everyday life, notice the special moments, those that have meaning, that are put away with care into a magical trunk of memories. It is important to notice them. Sometimes they appear unexpectedly. All those tiny, inconspicuous occasions that can be very easily overlooked….
The delight of a ladybug that suddenly sat on your hair, a tiny bouquet of field flowers that for days reminds you that you have a special place in someone’s heart, a spontaneous trip together to the end of the world for lilac flowers…. Prolonged nightly conversations, evening badminton games and delight in a suddenly appearing rainbow, and gazing at it with intensity so that this infatuation stays with us for a long time… The rescue action of a hedgehog that got stuck in a fence net… Ordinary, idle basking in the sun… on the grass… on a shared blanket… Listening to the evening concert of grasshoppers….
We are extremely busy. There is always something to do. Home and family life is a job that never ends. And that’s why these special moments need to be stolen, we need to waste time on them. They are the ones that will stay in our memory and, more importantly, in the memory of our children – creating a safe, warm haven of childhood memories – the foundation of adult life – so important.
All urgent matters will claim themselves anyway….
